How to reach Nicaragua
When traveling by air, all flights destined for Nicargua land at Managua's International Airport, Augusto C. Sandino. Managua's transit authority is working on the airport to enlarge it, when completed the airport will be able to receive intercontinental flights. When traveling by sea the ports of entry on the Pacific coast are the sea port at Corinto in Chinandega province, Puerto Sandino near Leon and San Juan del Sur on the Pacific coast. On the Atlantic coast El Bluff Near Bluefields and Puerto Cabezas are the Caribbean ports of entry. |
