La Boquita, a wide sandy beach that faces the Pacific Ocean, is another true natural paradise of Nicaragua. It’s served by a touristic complex built during Sandinism, it shows signs of degrade following up the long period of carelessness.

With the new throw of tourismin Nicaragua, the restaurants and the hotels of rh complex have begun many improvements to increase the quality fo services, altough a lot of work remain to be done.

The period of the greater affluence to the beach is La Semana Santa (The Holy Week), during the remaining period La Boquita offers a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere.

In the restaurants that rise directly on the beach you can enjoy excellent dishes of fish at low price ( for example a fish fillet costs 6 $, an entire grilled pargo rojo costs 8 $).
