There is so muck to see on Ometepe, and many ways to see it. You can explore the island by bus, car, horse, bicycle, canoe, or on foot.

In the city of Altagracia there is a small museum that copies the sanctuaries of the native civilization . Two of the most important are Finca el Porvenir and Magdalena, both of them situated on Madera volcano.

Playa Santo Domingo is certainly one of the most beautiful white beach of the isle and it extends for beyond three kilometers. Anyone who visits the beach can enjoy its beauty and appreciate the serenity that reigns there. Another place of touristic interest are Punta Jesus Maria in La Palora region and the lake of Charco Verde in South San José.
