The park placed 20 Kms north of Granada on the way to Managua, extends on a quite wide area and the visit by one's mean of transport makes you completely appreciate this wonderful park. On the contrary you can catch a taxi directly from Granada till the entranceof the Park early in the morning, so you can go through on foot avoiding the hottest hours of the day.

Because the entrance is situated beyond the city of Masaya,you can arrive till it by bus, then yon can continue on foot. It takes about 90 minutes to arrive at the top on foot.

The guided tour inside the park permits you to reach an active crater and to enjoy yourself with a very interesting view. You can also visit the museum of the park.

From monday to sunday fom 9 am to 5 pm, entrance price is 60 Cordoba, if you want a par's guide to make a park tour the price is 10 Cordoba per person (min 5 people).
